Updates: The Forum which contain GENERAL NEWS besides the WEALTH OF INFORMATION in each groups forum is converting to TVFanSpace.com Site Updates! In the future you'll find GENERAL Reality TV news which does not apply to any particluar show in the featured group on the front page called, "Reality TV News". It was redundant. Since many of you asked us we have combined them! This tab is now TVFanSpace.com updates! The TV social network is growing so fast that we have had to continously revamp things. Now that the organization is set, there will be few changes moving forward.
If you haven't read the updated, "TVFanSpace How To" please do so now...
....SETTING UP YOUR PROFILES:
1. First thing first. Set up your profile. (Choose colors, layout, fonts, etc.)
By clicking on the option on your page right after you sign up you'll be guided
through this process. You will see there are dozens of prebuilt profile options
but there is also the ability to upload any picture you like for a custom header
as well as change colors, text, font, and virtually anything you want! We
feature the most creative profiles so be creative and you'll find your profile
featured!
A.. Choose your applications. (Applications/widgets are a big part of our
network and the coolest things out there so click on the applications tab on
your profile and explore these and see what they are all about!)
B. Pictures. (Make sure to add pictures). Express yourself. Your profile makes
people want to say hello and engage with you in conversation so have fun and
make it creative with all the basic elements of a social network profile
including at least 4 or 5 pictures.
C. Choose your music. (adding Music to your profile page makes it alot more fun
to visit your page and is a great way to express yourself) You can use
projectplaylist.com, you can download MP3's from the home page, or you can
upload a mp3 one you already own or use one we have uploaded for everyone to
use.) All you need to do in order to add music is click on my page, look in the
lower bottom right hand corner of your page and click add music from the music
player! From there follow the prompts.
D. Add Videos.... All you have to add videos is use the "Embed Codes" from
Youtube. Choose your favorite videos & add them to your profile. Consider
picking ones that may work well with your pictures and music or maybe you like
to make people laugh and will want to pick something super funny and match it up
with a hilarious video!
WE COMBINE FORUMS, SOCIAL NETWORKING, AND COMPLETE TV VIEWING FOR AN OVERALL FAN EXPERIENCE!
Ok, now you've gone through the simple first steps to get your your basic
profile set up including adding music, a design and color layout, pictures, and
videos...now your ready to roll!
2. Just jump right in and join your show groups! Click on, "Show Discussions" and browse video trailers and articles for all the top shows on TV! When you see
a program that you like or want to learn more about, just click join in the
upper right hand corner! Wala, your now a official member of that show at the TV
Social Network.
3. After you join the groups for all your favorites, explore the active
conversations going on within those shows, leave comments on those threads and
start new discussion threads with your own thoughts or new discovery, stories,
leaks, spoilers, videos or even your questions! Once you do a few posts you'll
start to see how fun it is when the community weighs in on your thread.
4. Finally, remembers to check out other members pages and add friends of
profiles that stand out to you. Also let others in your group know you are here
by saying hello and sharing your page with them. Remember, as the community
grows you may find yourself conversing back and forth by comments on each others
pages so it never hurts to network and add as many friends as you
want....Another great reason to personalize your profile, add useful and fun
applications, music and a "About Me" section! (If you want more boxes for
applications and sections you'll find this also in, "Applications".)
