Religion - How important is it to Jake? Body language?

Thinking back to when we first met Jake during Jillian's show, I recall somewhere here someone said in part, Jillian let Jake go because his deep religious convictions were too much for her to contend with. He does not appear to be religious to me, but then again, he is also an actor.
