Two and a Half Men: Ashton Kutcher to Replace Charlie Sheen
The show must go on and it will, Ashton Kutcher has just joined the cast of ‘Two and a Half Men’.
Two sources close to the deal-making tell The Hollywood Reporter that the actor is putting the final touches on a deal to replace Charlie Sheen as the star of TV’s No. 1 comedy. Sheen was fired from Men in early March, after his media circus, where he insulted just about everyone including the shows creator, Chuck Lorre.
The deal came together quickly in the wake of Hugh Grant passing on the opportunity to join the show on Wednesday. Now sources say Lorre, has crafted a storyline to introduce Kutcher in a way that satisfies the network and studio. “It’s really funny,” says one source. “People are going to love it.”
Kutcher has not made any official statement, but he tweeted the following smiley face, winking to his 6.7 million followers, (-;
