Trista was born 10/08/72, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended college at Indiana University and the University of Miami, and she obtained a degree in physical therapy. While living in Miami, she worked as a physical therapist and a dancer for Miami Heat.

 
She appeared on "The Bachelor 1" and finished as runner up after bachelor Alex Michel chose Amanda Marsh. But Trista went on to become the first bachelorette. And she found Ryan Sutter, a fireman. They married and now have two adorable children.  They live in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Both have appeared in numerous episodes of "The Bachelorette," "The Bachelor" and "Bachelor Pad" as advisors and judges of various contests. She also appeared on "Dancing with the Stars," but was the first eliminated.
 
The couple agreed to have their wedding filmed in exchange for $1 million. However, the show's producers would have the final say as to her gown, cake, flowers, etc.
 
 The contract, which Rehn and Sutter signed , stated that the nuptials will be a "first-class, high-end affair." Rehn and Sutter will have "meaningful consultation" for all aspects of their wedding, but if there is a disagreement, the program's producer "shall make all final decisions."
 
If they got cold feet, they would return the $500,000, first payment. The wedding was beautiful and I enjoyed watching it. They truly seemed in love and still are. They were married in 2004 and 20 million people watched it on television. It certainly did not turn out to be a publicity ploy.
