'The Vampire Diaries' announces prequel novel focused on Stefan
"The Vampire Diaries" was based off of a book series by L. J. Smith before becoming a hit TV series on The CW, so it only makes sense in a way that everything would come full circle.
With that in mind, Entertainment Weekly has the first photo of Stefan’s Diaries #1: Origins, a prequel series focusing primarily on Paul Wesley's character from the show. Expect plenty of Civil War-themed action, since this will likely focus on the characters during their flashback sequences on the show.
One major difference between this book and the old novels is that Smith does not seem to be involved in the writing process here. As a matter of fact, the cover seems to be more of an advertisement for the show than anything else.
