Pamela Anderson was born July 1, 1967 and she was born in Canada.  Pamela first gained fame as a model in "Playboy Magazine"  And she rose to fame for her role on "Baywatch," and what a role it was.  She became a sex symbol.
 
In her early life she became a fitness instructor.  She was discovered at a Canadian football game.  She was wearing a form fitting Labatt's tee shirt. Her image as broadcast over the stadium screen.  From that moment, she was hired by Labatt to be in their advertisements.
 
She received an offer from "Playboy" and appeared in six issues. From there she scored big when "Baywatch," was looking for someone to replace Elanniak.  Before she landed the part, "Baywatch," was basically without plots,  The lifeguards were portrayed semi-nude and it was not liked by the critics.  However, when Pamela entered the mix,  and shots of her were shown, it became the highest rated program worldwide. 
 
Pamela tried her hand in the movies, but it did not go well.  She returned to television as the executive producer and star of V.I.P. She played the owner of a bodyguard agency staffed by models.  The series still exists in syndication. 
 
In 1995, she married Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee.  They had two children but the marriage ended in 1998.  Lee was arrested and convicted for spousal abuse.  Unfortunately, a problem due to that marriage developed as Pamela was diagnosed with hepatitis-C.  She used a tattoo needle with Lee, and feels that is how she got it.  She married again, Kid Rock, but that only lasted a few months.
 
Pamela Anderson made headlines again when she appeared in "Borat" - Cultural Learnings of America."  The film was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe award.  And,  she had another unsuccessful marriage.
 
Off the screen she is a vegetarian and also and advocate for PETA.  She also had a TV series called, "Pam Girl on the Loose."
 
And of course we know she was on "Dancing with the Stars," in season 10.  She finished on 6th place and had Damian Whitwood as a partner.  She is ready to give it another shot and promises to take the dancing technique more seriously.
