NCIS: New Episode May 3 Leads Into the Finale in Two Weeks "Swan Song" Several People Will Die
P2P will be taking the show through the season finale, 'Pyramid,' which airs May 17. However, it's the penultimate episode that sounds the most ominous, just by its title: episode 23, 'Swan Song.' The term 'swan song' has come to stand for a person's last dramatic moment before their death (last season's Supernatural finale bore that title, and Sam sacrificed himself to lock Lucifer in his cage). With not one, but two deaths coming before NCIS ends its eighth season, it doesn't sound good for some fans' favorites. Jesse Stern has been tweeting about this episode over the past couple of days:
"Anxious to get the Director's cut of ep 23 'Swan Song' tonight. That first cut is usually painful. Then you dig in and make it better."
"I'm not quite sure what we've made here. I've never seen an episode like 'Swan Song' before. Of anything. It's either brilliant or terrible."
Michael Weatherly recently called the season finale "epic" and mentioned "agents getting shot, chaos, mayhem and super intrigue."
It's already been revealed that P2P has made a male in his 30s who can access MTAC his victim (and sent Tony his eye).
