Jonathan is in his early thirties and has certainly come a long way since appearing on Ali's "Bachelorette." and "The Bachelor Pad" A professional weatherman, "weatherman" became his nickname on ABC's reality shows. He has done so well that he teaches a monthly seminar on,
"How to Break into Reality TV"
He graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and has degrees in both journalism and philosophy. (Interesting combination.) He is an AMS sealed meteorologist.
He worked for several years in the North East and then went to Texas for a few years as a weatherman. Later, he landed in Miami, with a Fox affiliate. This was due to his entertaining personality as well as his professional expertise. In 2007, he moved back to Texas as a weekend evening meteorologist, weather graphics producer and feature reporter. And of course, he has his seminars.
He considers himself a Host, Comic, and Actor. He did perform as a stand up comic for a few years and was even fortunate to open for Jimmy Fallon. He also considers himself a musician and singer/songwriter. But, he has not written a song about the weather yet!
As for his "Bachelorette" adventures, he was eliminated in the fourth episode, but not before he warned Ali about Craig McKinnion's "dangerous personality." Craig began bullying Jonathan early on. He made a comeback when asked to compete on "Bachelor Pad."
And guess who was on "Bachelor Pad" too? None other then Craig M. Once again they clashed but I believe Jonathan came out the better man. They are still enemies to this day.
But Jonathan has a very successful career, which was only furthered by his reality TV experiences. Anybody else what to give it a try?
