Jacob Lynn "Jake" Pavelka (born January 27, 1978) is an American pilot who appeared on four reality TV programs, most notably The Bachelor.

Born in Dallas, Texas, Pavelka began taking flying lessons at the age of 12 and became an airline captain flight instructor at 23. He worked as a pilot for Atlantic Southeast Airlines and, under the name of Jake Landrum, acted in several television commercials and programs produced in the Dallas area.

Pavelka first appeared as a contestant in the fifth season of the ABC reality show The Bachelorette. He was eliminated from the competition, but was brought back by the network to star in the 14th season of its series The Bachelor. The program’s run ended with Pavelka proposing marriage to contestant Vienna Girardi. The couple split up in June 2010.

Following the end of The Bachelor, Pavelka was named as one of the celebrity contestants for the tenth season of Dancing with the Stars.

He and his partner Chelsie Hightower were the fifth to be eliminated. In July 2011, it was announced that Pavelka would be a contestant on the second season of Bachelor Pad where he didn't last long but did go out with Jackie Gordon who was of course a reject from the bachelor season with Brad Womack. He was also a contestant on VH1's reality series Famous Food. He also appeared on an episode of The CW's reality show H8R.

Jake is currently dating Ashley Ann Vickers. Of course during Jakes times as the Bachelor Ali Fedotowsky left she show becoming the next bachelorette which was now nearly two seasons ago.
