Gavin was born Feb. 4, 1977. He is an accomplished musician, singer, and songwriter. He is known for his songs "Chariot", "Follow Through," "I Don't Want to Be," which was featured as the theme song for the TV drama series, "One Tree Hill."
 
Gavin grew up in the Catskills in Sourh Fallsburh, New York. His mother was a detox specialist and his dad was a prison guard. He is of Russian and Irish ancestry.  He began singing and playing the piano at the age of 8. His songs have been played on twelve different titles across both TV and film. He certainly is a talented young man.  During the special TV Show, "The Bachelor: Jason Mesnick and Molly's Wedding, his song "Follow Through" was played.
 
He is working hard and everyone is wondering if he will be able to dance the "Quick Step" to any of his music. His partner is Karina Smirnoffand she is a task master. I feel they will do well together.
