Emmitt Smith Dancing with the Stars 15 All Stars

 

 

Emmitt was born in 1969 in Florida. He family struggled financially and often worked odd jobs to help out.  He ended up being one of the greatest running backs in the history of the NFL.

 In college, Emmitt played for the University of Florida and holds 58 different records.  In 2010 he was inducted into the Professional Football Hall of Fame. At the end of 2010, Smith was the all-time leading rusher with 18,355 yards.  He also owns the record for most career rushing touchdowns with 164.
 
Emmitt started his professional football career with the Dallas Cowboys.  He was drafted the 17th overall in the first round of the 1990 NFL draft.  He was the star running back and helped the Cowboys win three Super Bowl titles, 1993, '94, '96.  Quite an accomplishment! He ended his career in Arizona.
 
In 2006, Emmitt was courted by Dancing with the Stars and agreed to do the show.  He and his partner, Cheryl Burke, won the competition.  And I am happy to say that he will be dancing in Season 15, All Stars. Will he have Cheryl? 
She is hoping to dance with one of her former partners.  At any rate, I am looking forward to seeing what he can do this season.  Another good fit for him might be Peta, who won this last season with Donald Driver.  Will you be watching?
