Dancing with the Stars 13: Video of Jive Derek and Julianne Performed - Would You Believe Derek Had an Injured Shoulder?

 

Derek was just smiling through pain as he danced the remarkable Jive with his sister Julianne.  Derek suffered a dislocated shoulder.

“He popped it back in, but he is still in a lot of pain,” one source told People just before show time.

After the show, Derek confirmed the injury and dismissed it as “just a little ping."

"Yes, I dislocated my shoulder. This week it was bothering me a little bit. I had pain in my neck and I was overcompensating and it went into my shoulder."

Now  keep that in mind as you watch him swing his arms and lift Julianne over his head in this the dance.

It was a fabulous dance. I never would have guessed that he was injured in any way.

I hope it does not prevent him from doing well next week. But knowing him, it won't.
