I am enjoying Dancing with the Stars this season. I was not sure how much I would enjoy it, as I was not familiar with most of the celebrities. But I am now, and I am very impressed with how so many have improved so quickly. It takes commitment, courage, practice, and many sore muscles. I really like the fact that for the past few seasons, we have not had those who use dancing as a living. It certainly is not necessary, especially with the level of dancing I am seeing this season.
Here is how everyone did last night:
Rob
Score: 24
Dance: Fox Trot
Music: "Fly Me to The Moon"
Rob used this song as it was his dad's favorite and he died a few years ago. This dance is a way to honor his father. The judges liked it and so did SereneLdy.
Len: "You put the dash in Kardashian" He liked his posture and his footwork and told him he did a good job.
Bruno: He told him "You started to play and toy with Cheryl." He thought it was a beautiful story.
Carrie Ann: "I like watching you and you improve every week. She thought he was debonair and charming.
SereneLdy: I feel he greatly improved and I loved his confidence. He has been in the lower status but his score is so much better this week. It just depends on the size of his fan base.
Chynna
Score: 26
Dance: Rumba
Music: "Hold on" Her first single.
The story is about her crisis, when she was on drugs and she realized that there was another path, which she is very happy she found.
Bruno: He knew she could be a smoldering siren. Her body shapes were elegant and she was very expressive in her dancing.
Carrie Ann: "You are stunning to watch." She loved her lines and how she connected to the music.
Len: He told her if she continues to dance like that, she will be here for weeks. "You have taken this contest to a new level."
SereneLdy: She was elegant, graceful, and oh so inspiring. I don't doubt that she will be around for a while, and most likely in the top 3 if she continues to do as well as she did tonight.
Chaz
Score: 18
Dance: Rumba
Song: "Laughing at Me" by his father, Sonny Bono
His story is about finally being very happy about who he has become this past year.
Carrie Ann: She tells him she is very impressed with his courage and she hates to say this but she feels he was distracted tonight.
Len: "That was your best dance yet. You gave it your all."
Bruno: He thinks he is endearing and tells him he appreciates his efforts and how difficult this dance it.
SereneLdy: Chaz gets an A for effort. Sadly, his ability to dance is really not there but I do admire his courage. But he really should be the one going home. It just depends on his fan base.

Dance: Samba
Music: "Crazy in Love" by Beyonce
Her story is about graduating from high school and needing to decide if she would go to college or move into acting. She choose acting and moved to Los Angeles. And she is so happy she did.
Len: He was not nuts about the Beyonce stuff, which was about 20% but the rest, 80% was fabulous.
Bruno: He calls it "Crazy in Lust." And he calls her a devil women and tells her to, "Keep going that way."
Carrie Ann: She feels she did pretty darn good filling Beyonce's shoes--keep it up!
SereneLdy: She as Hot Hot Hot!!! I loved it and she did not play safe tonight. She let it all out and she really seemed to enjoy herself. I don't see her going home.
Carson
Score: 23
Dance: Tango
Song: "It's My Life"
His story is about feeling different as he was growing up and how difficult that was. Queer Eye For The Straight Guy allowed him to be true to himself. He hopes to inspire people with this dance.
Bruno: "It was insanely brilliant" and he practically jumps over the table in excitement over it.
Carrie Ann: "I love you. It was drama and sexy." She loved his shapes and his attitude during the dance.
Len: "You puts the boy in flamboyant . You had the right attitude and I enjoyed it very much."
SereneLdy: I loved it too. He can really entertain and his footwork was much better. He has one of the lower scores, but he has escaped so far. I do enjoy watching him but I don't see him in the finals. And he brought the ballroom to its' feet!
J.R.
Score: 26
Dance: Rumba
Song: "If You're Reading This" by Tim McGraw
The Song is about a war hero who sends a letter to his lady and he is dead if she is reading it .He talks about his experience about getting injured in Iraq and seeing his mom and face for the first time. He became depressed and began questioning everything. He says his mom told him people who truly loved him would be in his life. This allowed him to focus on the positive. He dedicated this dance to the men and women in the military who didn't make it home.
I don't think there was a dry eye in place after he finished. He was even chocked up.
Carrie Ann: She tearfully tells him he did something extraordinary and thanks him for such a profound, honest dance.
Len: He feels he danced to an unexpected standard and and tells him it was a wonderful performance.
Bruno: He feels he is a hero and an inspiration and that he danced from his heart.
SereneLdy: My eyes were certainly wet. What an emotional story and I felt it. His dancing is exceptional and for someone who never danced before, WOW. Not going home anytime soon!
Nancy
Score: 21
Dance: Waltz
Song: "Moon River"
Her story is about how she and her daughter Lucy were in a bad way after she gave birth to the twins. Fortunately, everyone survived. This song is the first lullaby she sang to her babies.
Len: He would like to see better posture, but likes the emotion she showed.
Bruno: He felt it was soft and dreamy but she needs to link things together better.
Carrie Ann: She calls it a live action lullaby and thinks she did a great job.
SereneLdy: The story was sweet and it was lovely seeing her children in the audience. And I really admire this lady, but a dancer she it not. She really tries hard and gives her all but she could be going home.
Rikci
Score: 27, the highest of the night.
Dance: Rumba
Song: "Gravity" by Sara Barielles
The dance is about how tough 2010 was for her, Divorce, her house burning down and finding love again. She felt a "push pull" feeling. Derek did a marvelous job of designing the dance to convey this.
Bruno: "Every step was an expression as a word in a poem."
Carrie Ann: She felt she was on fire, very sensual, she loved it.
Len: He congratulates her on a dance well done and compliments Derek on the design of the dance. As usual, well done.
SereneLdy: This dance was also very moving and I could feel her emotion and oh the "push pull" aspect was brilliant on Derek's part. Another non-dancer who has just dazzled us. She could win it all. I don't see her going home anytime soon.

SereneLdy: Oh, he was so much better. I am happy for him. I enjoyed it. We shall how his fan base does with the voting.
