I really wanted Jake as THE Bachelor. We saw a different side of Jake on this show, but I still like him. I think he is incredibly naive and I agree he will find out the truth very soon about Vienna. They will NOT last.

You are so right...I fought for him to be next Bachelor...now I question my own judgement.

I still like Jake despite his choosing Vienna. After all, countless Bachelors before him chose someone, appeared at ATFR show all happy and yet they are now with different partners. So we may see this relationship fizzle just like so many others in the past.
The beginning of the end, I think, will be when the financial reality of life with Vienna sets in. She's been accustommed to being denied nothing. Hopefully Jake doesn't give her access to his credit cards because while he's practicing for DWTS, Vienna will be shopping and running up the bills. She'll of course play up the "Don't you want me to look nice for you? card. Hopefully Jake will wise up fast, kick himself for the mistake he made and correct it quick.

I don't understand why everyone hates Vienna so much and assumes that she is the worst person in the world. I also don't see how Jake was so different than he was on the Bachelorette. I think it's really mean to wish the worst on others not truly knowing what their relationship is like. I personally hope that things do work out for them.

It's not so much that we hate Vienna, more that we don't think she's ready for a mature relationship not now anyway. I think we just have to take a wait and see on this relationship since the track record for this show isn't good. It could be over before they award the trophy on DWTS this season.

Did I call it or did I call it? Sources say while Jake is rehearsing for DWTS, Vienna is doing some dancing of her own --at various stores around LA. She claims she wants to look good for the tv audience of DWTS and is trying to be smart with Jake's money by shopping at discount stores. Yes I said Jake's money since it's all on Jake's tab since she has no source of income of her own.
If she were truly being smart she would do more than shop at discount stores. After all how hard is it to take certain basic items of clothing and change them up with accessories. Perhaps she's testing just how much Jake loves her by how much he's willing to spend on her, a lesson she learned possibly from her father. If this were a rich guy, it would be one thing, but Jake is a frugal man and expects the full value of a dollar.
So just how long Jake will let this go on remains to be seen. Or quite possibly their romance could end over money like so many normal couples.

Jake as a pilot/actor...or whatever he does, makes a decent income, surely. HOWEVER, even THAT income is probably not enough to support daddy's little girl on. Remember when she said on TB about wrecking the cars and Daddy would just buy her another one. Hmmm. I did not get to see all of DWTS tonight so I don't know if Vienna was in the audience or not but it's been several months that they have supposedly been together. Jake has GOT to get his fill of it soon!

Jake is on furlough from the airline and so his only source of income is from DWTS and his part ownership in a limo company in Texas. But my point wasn't whether Jake was rich or not. My point was that Vienna's not onscreen enough to warrant a completely different outfit every week. If she were paying for the clothes herself that would be one thing but she's not, it's all on Jake.

Admittedly it's a tough job market, but has Vienna even tried to get a temp job in California? Okay she signed up with a talent agent for the motivational speaking she wants to do. But have there been any offers? So what's the problem?

Hopefully Jake will wake up soon and realize this what a future with Vienna will be like, him paying all the bills and Vienna contributing nothing. Just how long it will take for Jake to realize this remains to be seen. Hopefully he's smart enough to realize this is not the future a man like him wants or deserves and that he dumps Vienna.

Vienna as a motivational speaker???!!! What's she going to talk about? How to be a spoiled rotten....oh darn. Sorry! She definitely does not have enough air time on DWTS that she needs different outfits. Besides, she's not married to Jake yet...let DADDY buy them if she needs them that badly. I'm sure, regardless of anything he said on TB, he's pretty fed up with handing out to her, too. I suppose she could be a waitress at..nah that wouldn't work. Poor thing. If Daddy and Jake don't support her, what's she going to do?!
