Thanks beckster for posting the interview tidbits on Ellens show! As I mentioned, I missed it... :o)

Awe, poor Tenely. Her comments are warranted...she's hurt and desparately trying to understand what the deal-breaker was between her and Jake. Her already damaged ego (surrounding her ex-husbands infidelity), warrants her reaction and comments. I think she's just trying to figure out if something is wrong with her (there's not), or if she's to blame for her failed marriage, and now Jakes rejection of her.

Tenely is a beautiful girl, with a loving and caring spirit. She's had a few hard knocks lately but I'm positive good things will eventually come her way. She just needs to have a little more faith in herself and not force things to happen before they are supposed to. Tenley will find her "happily ever after" someday. Everything happens for a reason, (my dad always told me) she just doesn't realize it yet...but she will, with time, and then everything will make sense. :o)

I think Jake's libido got in the way and he wasn't thinking with his large head lol.

Well, if that's the case, it shouldn't take more than a couple months to realize that he's made a mistake, and maybe then he'll go after one of the castoffs...lol

Ali might not be available by then (because of her show)...maybe Tenley???

I see Tenley coming out of her shell and I believe she has grown since the beginning of the bachelor which
started shooting last year. I think just watching the show herself when it aired (after all was said and done) brought a lot of things into perspective for her. I know a lot of people don't like her (they think she is
boring) but I think she has showed a lot of spark and spunk since the TFR ceremony. After seeing her on
Ellen, I think she has come to some realizations as to what was really going on when it came down to the
final two girls. Ellen suggested that she should be on DWTS which was my first thought when they announced
that Jake was. She's a dancer and what better way to get over Jake!! I do think that Jake is really happy with
Vienna and I think Vienna is happy with Jake (for now anyway). They say they want a long engagement so
if Vienna is the one for Jake only time will tell.

Marilyn, you are right on the money with this statement! If he had been thinking with his heart and his actual brain, rather than his libido, he would have chosen Tenley. Vienna knew what would divert his attention and did it. Remember - Tenley DID get the first impression rose and the first kiss. Those things would not have happened had there not been something there from the first moment.

I am VERY proud of Tenley for speaking her mind and getting straight to the point. There's nothing victimy about her, and I love that. She is not "poor Tenley" in her own eyes and shouldn't be in our eyes, either.

First, I want to say that my original choice for Jake was Tenley and I was as surprised as most when he claimed there was no physical connection between them. That being said, I disagree that Jake picked Vienna strictly because he was after sex with her. If he was not feeling it with Tenley, then I think he did what was best for the both of them. I know that I could never have built a meaningful and lasting relationship with my own husband if I wasn't physically attracted to him.

As I've mentioned before, there are common denominators that Vienna and Jake share that the other three women do not, southern roots being amongst the strongest. As an aside, I detected that Jake would tell some of the other women that they " looked " beautiful, or that they are beautiful women, but he literally called to Vienna " Hey Beautiful " as he approached her on her hometown date. I got the impression that he really meant it and it surprised me. It really stuck with me as it was the only time I recalled him using that phrase. Another thing, he mentioned to his family that he nearly let Vienna go a few times but there was just something there that he could not let go of. Sorry, but I do not feel it was because of her body or sex. If Jake was merely looking out for his libido, he could have taken care of that during the fantasy suite date! I think what really drew Jake to Vienna was that she was there solely for him -- her only reason for being there. She remained at the house no matter how uncomfortable things were for her, she did not leave then nor did she leave out of frustration or because of a job. She wasn't leaving unless he booted her. " Keeping my eye on the prize " as she once told him. And let's not forget the Leap of Faith episode. They got through it together. I feel this early bonding and her strong devotion to him, coupled with his family's eventual blessing, is what cemented his decision to select Vienna. And of course, he is physically attracted to her!

Now, getting back to Tenley. She is quite a young lady and her behavior during her dismissal on the final episode is a testament to her and speaks to her character. But, she's a big girl and I don't feel sorry for her. She knew what she was getting in to when she signed on for the show. She knew she could and would most likely get her heart broken ( odds 24-1 that she would) and she put herself out there knowing that. I think what she learned from this is that she will be able to love again when she finds that special someone who is truly worthy of her and is willing to take all of her as she is.

Will Jake and Vienna last? Probably not, but only time will tell. Now that the decision has been made, I do hope it works out for them because after all, I am looking for that fairy tale ending. I want to see Jake and Vienna live happily ever after. At the end of the day I feel that most of us watching this type of show want that too.

Well if you watched Jimmy Kimmel tonight Jake told him that yes, physical attraction meant sexual attraction and that was what Vienna had and not Tenley. I think Jake and Vienna did more than talk all night in the fantasy suite date and from there on it was her. Jake really isn't who I thought he was and he proved that tonight on JK when he made that statement. I think they are both in LUST , not in LOVE....but I will have to say tonight Vienna looked better than another other talk show I have seen her on so far, and more outspoken tonight also. Why he says she is beautiful I don't know, because I still don't see it!!

Vienna was the only one who put on lingerie for Jake and pretty sleaky at that, and Jake did say that is one night the camerman aren't around after they go into the suite and shut the doors.. so I bet I know what went on behind closed doors that night.. Vienna was determined to win Jake .... and she did just that, sexually, oops or physically, oh yea he said they meant the same thing;) lol

my husband and I noted that Jake had a rise from the conversation and making out with Vienna a number of times-on board the pirate ship, on the beach, in the bedroom and finally when he was entering the car the last nite he had with Vienna. It was paintfully hard to miss. Jake is one of those men who, when he unzips his pants, his brains fall out.... Sorry but if the shoe fits, and it obviously does, then he should wear it.

OMG, I noticed this too, but was too embarrassed to mention it! Shame on the show for letting that slip through and be aired! I believe that Jake has to be embarrassed that America, his family, etc. saw that. This is prime-time television not a rated-X video. On Bonnie Hunt just now, one audience member made him address the "sexual chemistry/heat side of a relationship" versus the "real backbone characteristics of a relationship". YES, I agree there has to be physical attaction and chemistry, but that does not have to be the ONLY thing. I think in a lot of cases, people start liking and loving each other and the sexual and physical chemistry grows and builds with the relationship which is what Tenley was trying to explain during the show. This is only my opinion though. Have a nice day!

Bingo! I agree with you 100% Holly. Vienna wasn't there to swap make-up ideas with the other women, or even make friends with them...she was there for one reason, Jake. And although she was the one being bullied by some of the other girls, and had even been reduced to tears on a few occasions because of the bullying, she NEVER spent one moment of her one-on-one time with Jake discussing what the others were doing to her. She only discussed the other women when Jake directly asked her questions about things the other women told him about her.

Vienna, in my opinion, is a strong woman to have had to put up with the junk the other girls dished out to her. And even stronger now as she deals with the flurry of media and tabloid headlines about her.

I hope she and Jake last forever...if for no other reason than to show the other girls who kicked her in the teeth over and over, the tabloids and media, and the American public who've "joined the bandwagon" and decided to hate her too, that they were....well...wrong about her. And of course so I can enjoy that fairy tale ending...Good luck to them both.
