TVFanSpace How To....

Before we get started please click the "Share Button" below to add this site to your bookmarks now that you've found the TV Social Network. This will make it easier later to find us in case you cannot recall the sites name later on. You can also easily share a link with this button on your facebook or myspace or send out a quick tweet to let your friends know you ran across a cool new social network!

Great! Now that that's done let's get started!

SETTING UP YOUR PROFILES:

1. First thing first. Set up your profile. (Choose colors, layout, fonts, etc.) By clicking on the option on your page right after you sign up you'll be guided through this process. You will see there are dozens of prebuilt profile options but there is also the ability to upload any picture you like for a custom header as well as change colors, text, font, and virtually anything you want! Adding your own pictures into your layouts is alot of fun!! (We feature the most creative profiles so be creative and you'll find your profile featured!)

A.. Choose your applications. (Applications/widgets are a big part of our network and the coolest things out there so click on the applications tab on your profile and explore these and see what they are all about!!!) Choose a few for your page.

B. Pictures. (Make sure to add pictures). Express yourself. Your profile makes people want to say hello and engage with you in conversation so have fun and make it creative with all the basic elements of a social network profile including at lease 4 or 5 pictures.

C. Choose your music. (adding Music to your profile page makes it alot more fun to visit your page and is a great way to express yourself, not to mention when you on your own page it's nice to hear music ou enjoy). You can use projectplaylist.com, you can download MP3's from the home page, or you can upload a mp3 one you already own or use one we have uploaded for everyone to use.) Naturallt, it's all up to you! you can also set the music to auto play or not. All you need to do in order to add music is click on my page, look in the lower bottom right hand corner of your page and click add music from the music player! From there follow the prompts. If your wanting to download music, then you'll want to do that first by clicking on the link to do so on our home page. Once you play with the feeatures a bit you'll be blown away by all the cool things you can do here at TVFanSpace.com, the Reality TV Social Network.

D. Add Videos.... All you have to do is highlght the "Embed Codes" from Youtube and copy and past them onto your page! Choose your favorite videos from Youtube or others video sharing sites and simply add them to your profile. Consider picking ones that may work well with your pictures and music or maybe you like to make people laugh and will want to pick something super funny and match it up with a hilarious video! This is your space so have fun and make it your own! (This is not myspace folks and you'll soon notice that our long, long list of features, including video hosting capabilities are simply in another realm over other other more generic social networks). WE COMBINE FORUMS, SOCIAL NETWORKING, AND COMPLETE TV VIEWING FOR AN OVERALL FAN EXPERIENCE!

Ok, now you've gone through the simple first steps to get your your basic profile set up including adding music, a design and color layour, pictures...now your ready to roll!

2. Just jump right in and join your show groups! Click on, "Show Discussions" and browse video trailers and articles for all the top shows on TV! When you see a program that you like or want to learn more abour, just click join in the upper right hand corner! Wala, your now a official member of that show at the TV Social Network. When you join a show group TVFanSpace.com knows to email you updates or breaking news for that show and other with similar interests are more likley to interact with you about the show or add you as a friend so make sure to join the groups for ALL your shows.

3. After you join the groups for all your favorites, explore the active conversations going on within those shows, leave comments on those threads and start new discussion threads with your own thoughts or new discovery, stories, leaks, spoilers, videos or even your questions! Once you do a few posts you'll start to see how fun it is when the community weighs in on your thread.

4. Finally, remembers to check out other members pages and add friends of profiles that stand out to you. Also let others in your group know you are here by saying hello and sharing your page with them. Remember, as the community grows you may find yourself conversing back and forth by comments on each others pages so it never hurts to network and add as many friends as you want....Another great reason to personalize your profile, add useful and fun applications, music and a "About Me" section! HOW TO ADD YOUR SHOW! It's so easy!

Go to the top of your screen and click on "Show Discussions", this is also where you will go to find all your shows! Simply look to the left and you'll see "Add a group". Click on it and the prompts will take you to a new group and your ready to add the show description, new threads, website info, and more!

Then MAKE SURE TO EMAIL FRIENDS to let them know about the NEW TVFanSpace.com Show Group using the simple and easy invite button across the top of your page!

Remember, as the show group sizes grow the conversations get more and more vibrant and fun! TVFanSpace.com is growing like wildfire!
